About The Position

The Banquet Cook is responsible for preparing food consistent with recipe cards, starting food items that are prepared ahead of time, and ensuring not to over-prepare estimated needs. They will also return all food items not used on the next shift to designated storage areas. Additionally, the cook will operate and properly clean cooking and kitchen equipment and supplies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year's experience as a prep line/cook
  • Capable of thinking on their feet
  • Able to keep up in high-pressure situations
