About The Position
The Construction Safety Manager will oversee safety for a Mechanical contractor (union) working on the new build of a Pharma building.
Requirements
- OSHA 30 and 10+ years of construction safety experience OR BCSP cert and 5+ years of construction safety experience.
- Must have mechanical experience.
- Strong communication and public speaking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information
- In-depth understanding of EHS principles and construction safety regulations
- Ability to effectively communicate and enforce safety standards and best practices
- Familiarity with mechanical construction safety, particularly underground piping operations
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine safety audits, site inspections, and risk assessments across multiple project sites
- Lead incident investigations, document findings, and implement corrective actions
- Deliver safety orientations and ongoing training for employees, subcontractors, and new hires
- Partner with project management and field teams to identify and mitigate safety risks proactively
- Maintain accurate safety documentation, including incident reports, inspections, and compliance records
- Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and site-specific safety requirements
- Promote and reinforce a strong safety culture across all levels of the project team
Benefits
- Per Diem: $225/Day Worked on Site
- Completion Bonus: $150/month
