About The Position

The Banquet Cook-On Call is responsible for assisting cooks in the preparation of all food items for Food & Beverage Outlets and Banquets, following standardized recipes from Banquet Event Orders (BEO's) or guest checks in the outlets.

Requirements

  • High School diploma preferred.
  • Prior Line or Banquet cook experience of one year preferred.
  • Working knowledge of how to clean and cut vegetables and fruits.
  • Must be familiar with classical knife cuts and be able to name all the Mother Sauces and have the knowledge on how to prepare at least three of the Mother Sauces.
  • Ability to obtain any government required license or certificate.

Responsibilities

  • Supplying assigned workstation with all needed products and culinary equipment for prompt production.
  • Preparing prep work for menu items using standardized recipes for outlets, setting up and preparing items for banquets per prep lists and Banquet event orders, and performing other assigned duties.
  • Storing all food in refrigerated boxes with covers, labels, and dates, using proper containers and labels to protect against waste and spoilage.
  • Maintaining area in a clean and sanitized condition at all times.
