About The Position

Banquet Captain will supervise banquet staff and serve as the lead server to ensure exceptional guest service at all hotel events. This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, GF Hotels & Resorts. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

Requirements

  • Hourly pay $11-$15 plus gratuity

Responsibilities

  • Supervise banquet staff and serve as the lead server to ensure exceptional guest service at all hotel events.
  • Attend BEO meetings and work closely with Sales for updates and modifications.
  • Assist with inventory, orders, and linen and napkins.
  • Supervise banquet houseman to ensure events are set up correctly and dance floors are prepared.
  • Ensure events run smoothly and post checks at the end of every event.
