About The Position

At Austin Country Club, we are looking for a dedicated full-time Banquet Bartender to join us in Austin, TX. Founded in 1899, Austin Country Club is one of Texas's oldest clubs and the home of renowned golf instructor Harvey Penick. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of bartending experience in a restaurant or club
• TABC and Texas Food Handlers certifications
• Base knowledge of beer, wine, and liquor
• Ability to create classic and craft cocktails
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
• Genuine passion for delivering top-notch service
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to move and lift up to 55 - 90 lbs, stand, sit, and walk for extended periods
• Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Set up portable bars for events
• Prepare garnishes and ingredients
• Ensure the bar is fully stocked and organized
• Mix, prepare, and serve classic and craft cocktails
• Maintain accurate records
• Keep the bar area clean and up to health code standards
• Collaborate with team members and managers
• Respond to guest needs
• Play a vital role in special events, holidays, and club functions
• Participate in monthly inventory counts
• Attend staff meetings
• Complete various assignments from the Food and Beverage Manager or supervisor
