About The Position

Waldorf Astoria New York is seeking an Extra Banquet Bartender to prepare and serve beverages and provide memorable guest experiences. This union position is part of Local 6 and requires complete open availability; schedule restrictions cannot be accommodated. Full-time hours are not guaranteed, and hours and scheduling are based on seniority.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of bartending experience.

Responsibilities

• Bring an upbeat, friendly attitude to guest interactions and proactively find ways to make guests’ experiences special.
• Mix, garnish, and serve beverages according to recipe standards, ensuring accuracy and guest satisfaction.
• Stock and organize bar supplies, including beverages, glassware, and perishables.
• Use the point-of-sale system to accurately process cash, credit and debit cards, gift certificates, and vouchers.
• Manage inventory and ensure the freshness and quality of beverage-related items.
• Address guest concerns professionally and handle situations involving intoxicated guests with care and respect to maintain a safe environment.
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.
