About The Position

The Courtyard is looking for a Banquet Attendant. You will be responsible for setting up banquet rooms, assisting with food and beverage service, and ensuring guest satisfaction during meetings, events, and special occasions. We are looking for someone who can provide high-quality service that will help us provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests while maintaining a professional and welcoming atmosphere.

Requirements

Must obtain any food safety or other certifications required by local public health authorities.

Responsibilities

Offers courteous and sincere hospitality at all times.
Sets up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and decorations.
Assists with food and beverage service during meetings, banquets, weddings, and other events.
Maintains buffet stations and beverage areas by keeping items stocked and organized throughout the event.
Clears tables, removes dishes, and resets banquet areas in a timely manner.
Maintains the cleanliness and organization of banquet rooms, service areas, and storage areas.
Assists with the breakdown and cleanup of banquet events and properly stores equipment and supplies.
Works closely with the banquet team and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient event service.
Uses proper food handling and sanitation procedures at all times, including wearing gloves when required and washing hands frequently to avoid contamination.
Stores banquet equipment, food products, and supplies in a safe and organized manner.
Takes banquet waste and trash to designated disposal areas daily.
Must obtain any food safety or other certifications required by local public health authorities.
Answers questions about the hotel and community, is knowledgeable about the location of attractions, restaurants, and shopping, and responds professionally to guest requests, complaints, or concerns.
