About The Position
SourcePro Search is conducting a search for a Bankruptcy Paralegal for a top rated law firm to be based in their New Jersey office. The ideal candidate will support Bankruptcy Attorneys by assisting in daily tasks related to legal proceedings. Takes responsibility for the preparation and filing of diverse legal documents, conducts thorough research, and provides support across a spectrum of bankruptcy.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate required.
- 5 years of Bankruptcy Paralegal experience in a Law Firm
- Extraordinary attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and complete a high volume of work in a timely manner
- Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments while consistently delivering quality work product to both attorneys and clients
- Proven experience performing under pressure in a fast-paced environment, both individually and within a team setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook, Excel and iManage Document Management System
Responsibilities
- Follow up and check on status of bankruptcy cases
- Docket relevant information and future follow-up dates
- Perform bankruptcy search on various databases and docket results
- Drafting and/or reviewing related documents
- Assist with electronic court filings and various bankruptcy motions
- Any other duties as necessary or required
