About The Position

Banner Bank is seeking a Banker to serve as a welcoming face of its branch and help clients achieve their financial goals. The role processes client transactions accurately and efficiently, provides a strong client experience, and connects clients with relevant Bank products, services, and specialists. The Banker is expected to follow established policies and procedures, contribute effectively as part of a team, and maintain reliability and punctuality. The position includes selling Bank products and services through in-person and telephone conversations and meeting referral standards set by the Manager. The role requires working branch hours and lifting up to 25 pounds as needed. Travel is up to 0%.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Entry-level experience in cashiering, bookkeeping, client service, or sales with established goals.
• Ability to work branch hours.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic PC knowledge, including Windows-based applications, and calculator use.
• Comfort with basic math, negotiation, and problem-solving.
• Effective communication, including proper phone and email etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Process client transactions accurately and efficiently while following established policies and procedures.
• Provide an excellent client experience and act as the face of the Bank.
• Help clients achieve financial goals by referring Bank products and services.
• Refer clients to other Bank specialists when appropriate.
• Contribute effectively as a team member on assignments.
• Maintain personal reliability and punctuality.
• Sell Bank products and services through in-person and telephone conversations, meeting referral standards set by the Manager.
• Comply with policies, procedures, security requirements, and government regulations.
