About The Position

Banner Bank is hiring a Banker to serve as a welcoming, client-facing representative in a branch. The role focuses on accurately processing transactions, providing excellent client experiences, and helping clients reach financial goals by referring Bank products, services, and specialists. The Banker also sells products and services through in-person and telephone conversations while following Bank policies, security requirements, and government regulations. The position requires working branch hours and may involve lifting up to 25 pounds. Travel is up to 0%.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Entry-level experience in cashiering, bookkeeping, client service, or sales with established goals.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Nice To Haves

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic PC knowledge, including Windows-based applications, and calculator use.
• Comfort with basic math, negotiation, and problem-solving.
• Effective communication skills and proper phone and email etiquette.
• Ability to build relationships and deliver excellent customer service.
• Ability to work branch hours and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Process client transactions accurately and efficiently while following established policies and procedures.
• Provide an excellent experience for clients and act as the face of the Bank.
• Refer Bank products and services to assist clients in achieving financial goals.
• Refer clients to other Bank specialists when appropriate.
• Contribute effectively as a team member on assignments.
• Maintain personal reliability and punctuality.
• Sell Bank products and services through in-person and telephone conversations, meeting referral standards set by the Manager.
• Comply with Bank policies, procedures, security requirements, and government regulations.
