- Mandatory training to meet the needs of the people who live at the service
- Training specific to individuals needs, including positive behaviour support, PICA, moving and positioning training.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, or Physical Disabilities.
- Experience in managing challenging behaviors.
Responsibilities
- Leading an engaged and motivated team to change lives and deliver person-centred outcomes.
- Driving performance, setting the pace and direction within services.
- Promoting a positive and passionate culture.
- Ensuring services are appropriately and effectively resourced.
- Providing 24-hour care and support to individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, or Physical Disabilities.
- Delivering 1:1 support to individuals to help them achieve outcomes.
- Supporting individuals with their interests such as shopping trips, scenic drives, walks, sensory sessions, and coffee shops.
- Providing support based on the principles of choice, dignity, and respect.
