About The Position

This is an exciting time to join Home Group, one of the UK’s Largest Housing providers, and be part of our brilliant flexible bank. You’ll be supporting our amazing customers achieve their hopes and aspirations, while picking and choosing the shifts you want to work. You’ll be helping our vulnerable customers in a variety of services. You might find yourself working in accommodation-based services, a registered care home or supporting our customers in a community or home-based setting.

Requirements

• Flexibility to work at short notice
• Experience as a Support Worker
• Experience of working in this type of environment before
• A positive, can do and caring attitude, with the desire to learn
• Previous experience of working with support plans, recording, and using information concisely and effectively
• A real people person
• Confident working in different services, locations, and teams
• Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans, doing mandatory learning and keeping in touch with colleagues
• A valid driving licence and a vehicle insured for business purposes
• An Enhanced DBS check

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers with their practical, daily living tasks
• Working through support plans
• Helping customers achieve independence
• Working a sleep-in shift, making sure you’re available for overnight support
• Working the day shift
• Creating and updating support plans
• Doing mandatory learning
• Keeping in touch with colleagues
