About The Position

The Sales and Service Representative processes transactions and other customer service requests in the branch, helps customers understand the bank’s capabilities, tools, and resources, and supports branch sales efforts by identifying and referring opportunities to the appropriate bank partner. This is a float position providing coverage across branches in New Bern, Bayboro, Morehead City, Oriental, Newport, Atlantic Beach, and Beaufort. The role requires frequent driving between offices and other locations; a bank car is not provided, and mileage is reimbursed. The successful candidate communicates confidently and proactively, provides professional and empathetic customer service, adapts quickly to new information and technology, builds strong team and cross-functional relationships, manages competing demands, and moves efficiently through problem resolution.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 6 months of customer service experience.
Valid driver's license.
Frequent driving to other offices and bank customers is required; a bank car is not provided.
Skills in branch banking operations, written and verbal communication, transaction processing, building productive relationships, and attention to detail.

Follow regulations, bank policies, procedures, and delegated authorities to manage credit, operational, reputational, regulatory, and legal risks.
Complete required training by established deadlines.
Perform assigned general office management duties to support operational efficiency.
Process deposits accurately and efficiently, with accountability for individual contributions and potentially team performance.
