About The Position

This position is responsible for the ongoing organization and cataloging of a print and digital music library. The technician will maintain an online database of music, method books, textbooks, and other items. Key duties include pulling, checking for parts, distributing, copying, and organizing music for ensemble rehearsals, as well as fulfilling missing-part requests and collecting and refiling music after performances. The role also involves updating and improving the accuracy of the music library through the Band Library Audit & Preservation Initiative and transcribing missing parts for POP literature as needed.

Responsibilities
