About The Position
This part-time hourly Production Clerk works in the Bakery Department’s Manufacturing Section and assists Production Bakers in preparing merchandise for sale. Primary duties include receiving, shipping, scaling, mixing, frying, finishing, wrapping, packing, slicing, and other general or specialized baking functions. Secondary duties include related activities as required or assigned. The position offers 20–30 hours per week, with possible night and weekend work.
Requirements
- Productivity and organizational ability.
- Ability to work well with minimal supervision.
- Reliability and dependability.
- Repetitive lifting up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting up to 70 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with scratch bakery production requirements and equipment is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist Production Bakers in preparing merchandise for sale.
- Receive and ship bakery merchandise.
- Scale, mix, fry, finish, wrap, pack, and slice products.
- Perform other general or specialized baking functions.
- Perform related activities as required or assigned.
