About The Position

Full-time hourly Production Clerk working in the Bakery Department's Manufacturing Section and assisting Production Bakers in preparing merchandise for sale. Primary duties include receiving, shipping, scaling, mixing, frying, finishing, wrapping, packing, slicing, and other general or specialized baking functions. Secondary duties include related activities as required or assigned.

Requirements

• Must be available to be scheduled 35 or more hours per week, including nights and weekends, based on department needs.
• Demonstrate productivity and organizational ability.
• Work well with minimal supervision.
• Be reliable and dependable.
• Repetitive lifting up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting up to 70 pounds.

• Experience with scratch bakery production requirements and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production Bakers in preparing merchandise for sale.
• Receive and ship bakery goods and materials.
• Scale and mix ingredients.
• Fry and finish bakery products.
• Wrap, pack, and slice products.
