About The Position
Market of Choice is hiring a Bakery Clerk/Barista for its West Linn Market. Employees create a pleasant in-store atmosphere and provide knowledgeable, friendly customer service. The bakery offers homemade baked goods for different occasions and tastes, including cakes, doughnuts, and bagels. This is a high-energy, team-oriented role focused on preparing customer orders accurately, promptly, and courteously. No experience is necessary; training is provided. The position offers an opportunity to advance in a bakery career toward becoming a baker or cake decorator. Pay starts at $19.00 to $20.00 per hour depending on experience, with growth opportunity up to $23.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Be motivated and able to work in a team environment.
- Have effective communication skills.
- Prepare customer orders accurately, promptly, and courteously.

Responsibilities
- Assist customers with product selection and recommendations.
- Accurately prepare espresso and coffee drinks according to customer requests.
- Stock, market, and sell pastries, coffee cakes, and other products.
- Perform cashiering duties as needed.
- Help maintain related equipment.
- Perform general housekeeping.
