Bakery Clerk / Auxiliar de Panaderia
About The Position
We are looking for a responsible, active, and service-oriented Bakery Clerk / Auxiliar de Panaderia to support the daily operations of the Bakery area. The position combines customer service, product packaging, restocking, display organization, product rotation, basic preparation of coffee, juices, beverages, and general support to maintain a clean, attractive, and ready presentation for our customers. This position is primarily aimed at afternoon shifts, but requires flexibility according to operational needs. The ideal candidate should be friendly, organized, practical, and able to work with a sense of urgency to ensure that Bakery products are fresh, well-presented, correctly packaged, and available throughout the day. The schedule may include rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- Previous experience in bakery, pastry, food service, customer service, retail food, or similar positions preferred.
- Good service attitude and willingness to interact with customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and customer-oriented operation.
- Ability to follow instructions, presentation standards, and hygiene procedures.
- Responsible, organized, punctual, and reliable person.
- Ability to remain standing and moving for long periods.
- Availability primarily for afternoon shifts, with flexibility for rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays according to operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Attend to customers cordially, quickly, and professionally in the Bakery area.
- Package, label, and organize bakery products following presentation and quality standards.
- Maintain display cases, exhibits, and product areas clean, orderly, stocked, and well-presented.
- Restock products during the shift and rotate merchandise to support freshness, availability, and waste control.
- Verify quality, presentation, prices, labels, and product availability.
- Keep the work area clean and in compliance with hygiene standards, food safety, and internal procedures.
- Support other operational tasks in the Bakery area according to business needs.
