Employees must have sufficient strength to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position including moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds), walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and squatting. This position requires nearly continuous standing and walking, repetitive hand motions, and reaching overhead. Employees may be exposed to unusual elements including extreme temperatures of coolers and freezers. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to speak and understand conversational English.
- Availability to work at least 20 hours per week.
- Weekend and holiday availability is strongly preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a ServSafe Food Handler Certification (where required).
Responsibilities
- Delivering friendly, fast, and memorable customer service.
- Greeting guests and assisting with product selection.
- Operating the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately.
- Preparing coffee, tea, and specialty beverages.
- Assisting with bread merchandising and product presentation.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment.
- Working collaboratively with your teammates and store leadership.
- Following all company policies and Health Department regulations.
- Cross-training in multiple areas, including: Cashier (POS), Bar, Bread, Cake
- Arriving on time and ready to work each scheduled shift.
- Having fun while delivering an exceptional guest experience!
