About The Position

As a Baker, you prepare fresh, high-quality breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts using established recipes and production methods. You measure, mix, shape, and bake products, and decorate cakes and specialty desserts while maintaining consistency and quality. You organize and maintain a clean, safe work area, rotate and label ingredients, and keep product cases full, well-stocked, and visually appealing. You work with bakery team members to plan daily production and support smooth operations. You also assist customers with product questions, take special orders, and provide friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide friendly, timely, and helpful customer service and follow up on customer requests and questions.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, follow production schedules, and maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
• Familiarity with proper food handling, sanitation practices, and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with changing production needs.
• Ability to safely operate mixers, ovens, and bakery equipment following established guidelines.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move items, and work in varying temperature environments, including ovens, coolers, and freezers.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
