About The Position

Responsible for preparing food in accordance with established company and departmental policies and procedures under the direction of the Pastry Chef and Baker I. Prepares food in accordance with recipe specifications. Responsible for preparing / baking items in accordance with recipe specifications. Maintains effective flow of production and ensures freshness of products.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must complete Food Handler or ServSafe certification or have proof of current certification.
• Must be able to obtain a valid gaming license.
• Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test.
• Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Must be able to communicate proficiently in English.
• Must possess and maintain a valid California driver license and Black Oak Casino driver’s permit.
• Requires knowledge of baking and kitchen operations.
• Must have knowledge of cleaning, set-up and breakdown procedures.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Baker I, ensures all functional duties associated with this job are performed according to established company and departmental policies and procedures.
• Notifies Baker I prior to depletion when stock needs to be replenished.
• Prepares food in accordance with recipe specifications.
• Responsible for preparing / baking items in accordance with recipe specifications.
• Restocks stations as required.
• Maintains effective flow of production and ensures freshness of products.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
