Responsibilities

  • Contribute to research that applies AI and software engineering to real-world challenges.
  • Explore topics such as assistive technologies, computer vision, human–computer interaction, and virtual and augmented reality.
  • Design and develop intelligent software tools that support accessibility, learning, and everyday activities.
  • Review existing research, conduct experiments, and evaluate system performance and user experience.
  • Collaborate with faculty and peers to develop ideas and build functional prototypes.
  • Document findings and contribute to research publications, posters, and presentations.
  • Conduct research in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, and Human-AI Interaction.
  • Investigate the impact of AI on human intelligence, critical thinking, communication, trust, privacy, and society.
  • Develop and evaluate AI/ML models and cybersecurity solutions.
  • Analyze datasets, conduct experiments, surveys, and literature reviews.
  • Contribute to research papers, technical reports, posters, and conference presentations.
  • Collaborate on projects focused on responsible, secure, and human-centered AI.
  • Participate in experimental work with electrolytic electroporation and pulsed electric field technologies being developed for applications such as cancer treatment and tissue engineering.
  • Perform hands-on lab work, including testing and optimizing biomedical devices.
  • Document experimental processes and results for analysis.
  • Contribute to the creation of academic papers, reports, and presentations based on research outcomes.
  • Attend regular meetings with faculty advisors to discuss progress and next steps.
  • Maintain detailed records of research activities and findings.
