About The Position

This position involves providing friendly and courteous service to customers. Key duties include placing customer purchases into bags, placing filled bags in carts, carrying purchases to cars, retrieving carts from the parking lot, maintaining store and lot cleanliness by picking up paper and debris, stocking bags, emptying trash, sweeping and mopping floors, returning unwanted merchandise to shelves, reading and understanding shelf tags, and verifying prices. The role also includes other duties as assigned by store management. Training will be provided at the store level.

Requirements

Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
Must be able to push 3 to 5 carts at a time
Able to work outside in seasonal weather
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Working on feet for entire shift (4-8 hours)
Minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred (for Store/Facility Teammates)
Minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred (for Store Support Center Teammates)
Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline)
Manager approval based on performance if invited for an interview

Nice To Haves

Internal candidates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred.
Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred.
