About The Position

The BAG Production Technician safely operates a cryogenic air separation plant to support reliable, efficient performance and maintain product quality. The role involves monitoring and adjusting process parameters, conducting and facilitating maintenance and repairs, interpreting equipment and process-condition data, and ensuring safety and quality during contractor work. The technician follows company, customer, and regulatory safety policies, reports incidents, performs lockout/tagout procedures, and recommends improvements to plant availability and reliability.

Requirements

Experience operating production processes or systems in an industrial environment, with a strong commitment to safety.
Proficiency with mechanical equipment, electrical systems, and industrial instrumentation.
Familiarity with controls and human-machine-interface platforms such as Wonderware, Rockwell, and Siemens.
Ability to read and revise engineering drawings, including piping and instrumentation diagrams and schematic wiring diagrams.
Ability to communicate technical information clearly to support safe, coordinated, and effective teamwork.
Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and aerial work platforms safely in accordance with established procedures.
Strong computer proficiency, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Perform and facilitate maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to uphold plant safety and equipment integrity.
Monitor process performance and adjust operational parameters to maintain reliability, quality, and efficiency.
Follow company, customer, and regulatory safety work policies and promptly report incidents.
Collect and interpret trends in equipment and process-condition data to support proactive maintenance decisions.
Oversee contractors performing routine and non-routine work to ensure safety compliance and quality execution.
Execute lockout/tagout procedures.
Recommend improvements that enhance process availability and overall reliability.
