About The Position

The Backup Operator supports production operations by completing required paperwork, taking bottle measurements, operating the blow molder and downstream components, cleaning molds, and assisting with changeovers. The role also includes maintaining product safety and quality, identifying and addressing workplace safety concerns, communicating effectively, and keeping work areas clean and safe. The employee must be willing to complete training in blow mold basics and a six-week Operator Training Course. The training includes formal evaluations at three and six weeks, as well as additional periodic evaluations by the Trainer and Supervisor, with decisions made accordingly. The position requires the cognitive and mental ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds continuously throughout the shift.
Ability to perform continuous lifting, bending, reaching, and twisting.
Cognitive and mental ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
Willingness to be trained in blow mold basics and complete a six-week Operator Training Course, including formal evaluations at three and six weeks and additional periodic evaluations.
