About The Position

The Backup Operator is responsible for supporting product safety and quality while operating a blow molder and downstream components. The role includes completing related paperwork, taking bottle measurements, cleaning molds, and assisting with changeovers. The operator helps maintain a safe, clean work environment by inspecting work areas, identifying unsafe acts or conditions, following safety procedures, and performing cleaning and sorting duties as needed. The position requires multitasking in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. The employee must be willing to complete a six-week Blow Mold Basics Operator Training Course, including formal evaluations at three and six weeks and additional periodic evaluations by the Trainer and Supervisor. Mechanical aptitude is a plus.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds continuously throughout the shift.
Ability to perform continuous lifting, bending, reaching, and twisting.
Cognitive and mental ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
Willingness to complete the six-week Blow Mold Basics Operator Training Course and associated evaluations.
