About The Position

Ministry Brands is seeking a Background Screening Specialist, Drug & Occupational Health to join their expanding team. Ministry Brands is a leading provider of SaaS operational management systems, payment platforms, digital engagement tools, and background screening solutions for faith-based, non-profit, and for-profit organizations, serving over 95,000 customers. The company is a fast-growing, globally recognized background screening company accredited by the Professional Background Screening Association (PBSA) with offices in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Tampa, Florida. The purpose of this role is to be a trusted voice in background screening by delivering a unique experience that reflects visionary leadership, passion for service, and commitment to excellence.

Requirements

• 3+ months of related experience in verifications, criminal research, customer support, or a customer-facing role
• Basic level of skill in Office 365 - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Demonstrated ability to learn and understand basic office software applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organization and follow-up skills
• Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work both individually and as a member of a team
• Ability to work effectively and accurately within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimal

Nice To Haves

• A two-year degree from a college or technical school or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and prompt turnaround on all search results
• Deliver completed reports
• Call/email collection sites and labs
• Provide and maintain an in-depth working knowledge of all searches and client guidelines
• Input thorough and accurate notes when determining the adjudication result on an applicant
• Schedule and order drug tests
• Meet personal and team qualitative and quantitative production targets
