Backend Intern - Platform

Ridecell is a leading fleet automation and mobility platform provider that helps large fleets digitally transform their business operations. Their platform combines real-time data insights with digital vehicle control to automate manual processes and improve efficiency for shared services, motorpool, rental, and logistic fleets. With offices in San Francisco, Paris, Berlin, and Pune, Ridecell powers successful fleets across Europe and North America. They are currently seeking a Python Developer with experience in network API design, automated testing, and strong debugging skills. Preferred qualifications include expertise in Python Django, PostgreSQL, and experience in B2B software and web frontend development.

• Taking advantage of keyless vehicle access and digital immobilizer control
• Automating fleet management and monetization processes
• Designing and implementing network APIs (e.g. REST)
• Refactoring code for improved performance
• Conducting automated testing
• Debugging and analyzing code
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in Python, Python Django, PostgreSQL, and web frontend development
• Expertise in architecting relational database-backed web applications
• Code reviewing
• Data analysis
• B2B software experience
• Experience working in a startup or founding own startup
• Product design, engineering management, program management, DevOps, embedded development, and mobile app development experience

• 0-5 years of experience in Python
• Network API design experience (e.g. REST)
• Strong refactoring skills
• Experience in Automated testing
• Strong debugging and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Experience in Python Django (Preferred)
• Expertise in PostgreSQL (Preferred)
• Strong skill in architecting relational database-backed web applications (Preferred)
