About The Position

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented interns to join our technology team. The Frontend Developer Intern will focus on building responsive, user-friendly public websites and web applications, crafting intuitive and performant user interfaces using JavaScript/TypeScript and React, while collaborating closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and deliver seamless user experiences. This internship offers hands-on exposure to modern frontend development practices and an opportunity to contribute to real-world, production-level applications. The Backend Developer Intern will focus on building and maintaining robust, scalable software systems, collaborating closely with data and frontend engineers and contributing to the development of backend services that power real-world applications. Our technology stack includes Java and Spring Boot for backend services, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch for data storage and search, React with JavaScript for frontend applications, and AWS for cloud deployment. These internships are ideal for candidates who are passionate about software engineering and eager to gain hands-on experience working on production systems.

Requirements

Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript and React for frontend development.
Experience with Java and Spring Boot for backend development.
Familiarity with database systems such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
Understanding of RESTful API integration.
Knowledge of frontend unit testing.
Experience with AWS for cloud deployment.
Familiarity with JUnit for backend unit testing.
Ability to debug, troubleshoot, and optimize code.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Passion for software engineering and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

Build, enhance, and optimize frontend components using JavaScript / TypeScript and React to deliver smooth and responsive user experiences.
Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate RESTful APIs, ensuring reliable data flow between frontend and backend systems.
Participate in the design and refinement of user interfaces with an emphasis on performance, accessibility, and usability.
Identify, debug, and resolve frontend issues to continuously improve application quality and user experience.
Write and maintain frontend unit tests to ensure code reliability and stability across modern browsers.
Assist with the deployment and maintenance of frontend applications on AWS, supporting smooth releases and updates.
Assist in the development, enhancement, and maintenance of backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Design, implement, and optimize database queries using PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
Write and maintain unit tests using JUnit to ensure code quality, reliability, and maintainability.
Collaborate with the engineering team to deploy, monitor, and maintain backend systems on AWS.
Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize backend code to improve system performance and stability.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to discussions around system design and architecture.
