Backend Engineer - Flow Builder

Postscript is seeking a Backend Engineer to join their Flow Builder team. The role involves utilizing strong software engineering skills to enhance the Flow Builder platform, collaborating closely with team members to develop, test, scale, and manage backend applications and systems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building high-quality products, particularly in early-stage companies, and will have the opportunity to contribute to the expansion of the engineering team and the development of architecture and processes. This is a fully remote position.

• Build new features and scale existing functionality of the Flow Builder platform
• Work closely with others, including engineers, designers, and product managers as part of a cross-functional product team, to deliver a world-class product
• Participate in cross-team collaboration efforts to deliver integrated product features
• Make technical decisions to get work done including weighting trade-offs of customer value, technical constraints, and business priorities
• Contribute to the engineering culture of Postscript by defining best practices for their team and drive improvements in all aspects

• Strong software engineering skills
• Experience in building high quality products
• Proficiency in Python (Flask) API
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL database
• Familiarity with AWS hosting
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Passion for building great products in early-stage companies
• Ability to contribute to the engineering culture and drive improvements

• Salary range of USD $143,000 to $167,000 base plus significant equity regardless of location
