About The Position

At Mighty Quinn’s, a Wonder restaurant, the Back of House (BOH) Team Member prepares food, maintains a clean and organized kitchen, and supports the team. Team members are cross-trained across porter, oven, prep, and fryer stations. The role includes opening, shift, and closing duties to support restaurant operations and guest service. The position is offered full-time and part-time at MQ Broadway BBQ, with a pay rate of $21.00. The interview will take place at Mighty Quinn’s Barbeque.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to work with speed, accuracy, and strong attention to detail.
• Solid organization, clear verbal communication, and ability to follow directions.
• Team-oriented, with basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Willingness to learn multiple stations and cross-train.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for a full shift while working.
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and lift.
• Must have weekend availability.
• Food Handler Certification, or willingness to obtain it if required by state, county, or local health departments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the front-of-house line for service.
• Prepare food orders accurately, on time, and according to company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness in back-of-house areas throughout the shift.
• Restock products as needed during the shift.
• Communicate questions or issues to front-of-house staff and Line Leaders.
• Complete back-of-house breakdown and clean equipment.
• For opening duties, stock paper goods, containers, utensils, and backups; organize and check products needed for daily operations.
• For closing duties, sweep and mop the back-of-house floor, ensure product is full for the opening shift, and complete the list of items needed for the morning shift.
• Perform other tasks customarily required of a back-of-house employee and other assigned duties.
