About The Position

Derex Technologies Inc is seeking an experienced AWS Data Solution Architect to lead the design, modernization, and implementation of scalable, cloud-native data platforms. The role involves architectural leadership and hands-on delivery to advance enterprise data transformation initiatives. The architect will collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineering teams, and leadership to define data strategies, modern architectures, and execution roadmaps. The position is based in Pennsylvania, USA, requires complete onsite presence from day one, and is a long-term contract role.

Requirements

• 14 or more years of experience in data architecture and data engineering roles.
• Strong experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain, including insurance data architecture, data modeling, and end-to-end data solutions.
• Proven experience as an AWS Data Solution Architect.
• Deep hands-on expertise with AWS data services.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT, and analytics platforms.
• Experience modernizing large-scale, complex data environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
