About The Position

EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants is seeking an AVP/VP with a strong emphasis on Property Insurance and experience in the real estate insurance space to join their Financial Services division. This role will focus on serving Private Equity clients. The ideal candidate will manage client accounts, assess risks, and negotiate with insurance markets. EPIC is a rapidly growing firm founded in 2007, headquartered in New York City, with over 3,000 employees nationwide. They value an owner mindset, inspiring trust, thinking big, and driving results.

Requirements

  • College degree required
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Active Property & Casulty Commercial license
  • Must have a working knowledge of a variety of Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands
  • Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires teamwork, demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy

Responsibilities

  • Account management and retention – manage a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring a higher retention rate through proactive renewal strategies
  • Risk assessment – analyze client operations to identify critical causes of potential loss and recommend appropriate coverage
  • Market negotiations – act as a liaison between clients & insurance markets to negotiate competitive pricing & favorable coverage terms for complex & difficult to place risks
