About The Position

Richemont, a global leader in the luxury sector, is seeking an AVP, Regional Group Marketing - Americas to lead the re-establishment and growth of its Group Marketing footprint in the Americas. This role is pivotal in building marketing capabilities from the ground up in this crucial market. The position is part of a dynamic, fast-paced, and international team, contributing to Richemont's prestigious portfolio of luxury Maisons. The Group Marketing department supports the Group and its Maisons in developing and nurturing brand equity through specialized sub-departments including strategic planning, market intelligence, media, strategic communications and partnerships, and client marketing. The regional Group Marketing offices represent all Group Marketing functions horizontally within their region, fostering collaboration with regional subsidiaries and headquarters.

Requirements

  • University graduate (e.g., management, business, strategy).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing.
  • At least 5 years in a leadership position.
  • Strong managerial skills in resources and projects.
  • Strong leadership capabilities of managing a lean team while supporting multiple layers of stakeholders.
  • Organized, structured, comfortable with figures, and adept at multitasking.
  • Creative, constructive thinker with a client-centric mindset.
  • Capable of long-term strategic thinking and immediate issue resolution.
  • Exceptional communicator, able to articulate complex ideas to all levels and effectively manage stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to influence decision-makers and drive cross-functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrable ability to drive corporate marketing initiatives and frameworks, enabling successful business delivery and transformation.
  • Autonomous, rigorous, and a collaborative team player.
  • Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive the marketing corporate organization for the US.
  • Manage a team of marketing experts and lead key initiatives as a player/coach.
  • Mentor the team to deliver on the regional mission across industry and competitive insight, decoding consumers, supporting Group/Maisons visibility and performance, and enhancing client experience.
  • Collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including Maisons and corporate business teams.
  • Support, define, and implement the regional Group Marketing Americas strategy, focusing on re-establishing and growing Richemont's marketing footprint.
  • Define, build, and lead the expert regional Group Marketing Americas team, establishing operational frameworks and processes.
  • Identify data-driven marketing and branding strategies consistent with the department's four pillars.
  • Translate market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, and consumer trends into actionable insights.
  • Manage the department's budget and expenses for the market.
  • Lead cross-functional projects, fostering collaboration with Maisons and regional corporate functions.
  • Advise the Group and Maisons on marketing, communications, and client strategies.
  • Influence decision-makers with data-driven insights and build strategic relationships.
  • Animate communities of practice, facilitating knowledge sharing, leading taskforces, and organizing summits.
