About The Position

Vinarchy is a new global wine company formed from the merger of Accolade Wines and Pernod Ricard Winemakers. We manage the entire wine supply chain, producing wine in multiple countries and employing people across continents. Our diverse portfolio includes well-known brands like Jacob’s Creek, Hardys, and Campo Viejo, alongside growth drivers and fine wine jewels. We are innovative, ambitious, and aim to lead and shape the future of the wine category. The Marketing Lead, Americas will be responsible for developing and executing integrated digital marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, support distributor and retailer programs, and increase sales across key channels. This role requires strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and strong collaboration. The position will provide leadership for the Americas market and Marketing team, setting direction and ensuring alignment with regional commercial and brand priorities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8+ years’ experience in marketing, brand management, digital marketing, trade marketing, ideally within FMCG, beverage alcohol, wine, or consumer goods.
  • Proven experience developing and executing integrated marketing plans across digital, retail, distributor, and trade channels.
  • Strong understanding of brand building, consumer engagement, campaign planning, content development, and performance optimisation.
  • Experience working with distributors, retailers, agency partners, and cross-functional commercial teams.
  • Ability to translate global brand and commercial strategies into locally relevant Americas market plans.
  • Confident people leader with experience coaching, developing, and prioritizing work across a marketing team.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior, regional, global, and cross-functional stakeholders effectively.
  • Proven ability to provide strategic oversight across portfolio strategy, annual planning, A&P allocation and innovation opportunities.
  • Experience monitoring market, brand, and channel performance and using insight to adjust plans, prioritize investment, and improve commercial outcomes.
  • Commercially minded, data-led, and results-driven, with the ability to use insight and performance metrics to improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Highly organised and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, campaigns, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic oversight of the Americas brand portfolio, ensuring alignment with regional commercial objectives, global brand direction, and market growth opportunities.
  • Own and coordinate the annual marketing planning process for the Americas, translating business priorities into clear brand, channel, customer, and activation plans.
  • Manage A&P allocation across brands, channels, and markets, prioritizing investment for growth, effectiveness, and commercial return.
  • Identify innovation and growth opportunities through consumer, category, channel, and customer insights, shaping locally relevant plans with stakeholders.
  • Monitor market, brand, and channel performance, identifying risks and opportunities and adjusting plans to improve outcomes.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of digital marketing plans aligned with sales and distribution goals.
  • Manage and guide omni-channel campaign delivery across social media, email, search, and display to increase awareness and support sell-through.
  • Oversee collaboration with the team, distributors, and retailers for co-creation of localized digital activations.
  • Lead content strategy for web, email, and social media channels, ensuring brand voice and compliance.
  • Work closely with the creative team to produce engaging storytelling assets.
  • Manage seasonal and product launch campaigns to drive consumer engagement.
  • Support distributor and retail partners with digital toolkits, campaigns, and co-branded content.
  • Coordinate trade marketing programs with on-premise accounts.
  • Ensure campaigns align with compliance regulations and regional marketing guidelines.
  • Oversee paid media campaign activity across social, search, and programmatic channels, ensuring optimization for ROI and lead generation.
  • Manage oversight of KPI tracking across traffic, conversions, engagement, and partner performance, ensuring regular reporting.
  • Guide the team in identifying trends, insights, and opportunities to improve campaign and market effectiveness.
  • Manage and optimize CRM and email marketing programs.
  • Support website updates, SEO/SEM initiatives, and eCommerce integrations.
  • Utilize marketing automation tools to personalize outreach and nurture leads.
  • Lead and influence cross-functional stakeholders across the Americas markets.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing marketing team.
  • Build strong relationships with global stakeholders.
  • Act as a visible marketing leader for the Americas.
  • Champion collaboration across diverse markets and cultures.
  • Directly manage and develop members of the Marketing team, including goal setting, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s and performance check-ins.
  • Prioritize and allocate workload across team members.
  • Partner with HR on performance management, development plans, and career progression.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment.
  • Support onboarding and training of new marketing team members.
