We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client. This role involves applying technical knowledge to solve complex avionics problems beyond standard manuals. Responsibilities include analyzing circuits, calculating waveforms, and tracing signal flow using advanced test instruments. The position requires performing aircraft bench and flight line operational testing and troubleshooting in accordance with DOD, manufacturer, company, and supplier directives. Tasks also include assembling, installing, testing, and modifying wire bundles and other components on aircraft per directives. Ensuring proper handling of products, tools, and equipment, and prioritizing workload to maintain project schedules are key. The role involves consulting with management and peers to determine optimal work processes, assisting and training less experienced employees, and potentially leading teams on complex aircraft tasks. Performing all duties of lower Avionics classifications as needed is also part of the role. Interpreting work instructions, blueprints, diagrams, charts, sketches, formulas, and electronic orders is required to accomplish tasks. Maintaining safety compliance with all equipment, processes, and Lock Out/Tag systems is essential. Assisting other teams (General Mechanics, Structures, Electrics) to meet cost and schedule targets is expected. The role may require working various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and unscheduled overtime as required.
