About The Position

The Avionics Technician will be part of the team to perform assembly, installation, repair, or replacement of aircraft electrical/electronic components and systems in the manufacture, maintenance, or refurbishing of aircraft, and function check of components. This role requires a close working relationship with the assigned lead person regarding schedules, priorities, and the availability of parts, supplies, and tools. The technician will work from blueprints, sketches, vendor and service manuals, and other source data to obtain specifications. A variety of standard and specialized hand tools, power equipment, measuring devices, and test equipment will be used. The technician must ensure that completed work complies with FAA regulations, customer requirements, and company specifications.

Requirements

Minimum of six (6) years of experience working on avionics in aircraft, preferably rotorcraft.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches and diagrams.
Ability to apply standard shop practices in the fabrication and repair modifications of aircraft structures and repairs.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Nice To Haves

Current A&P license is a plus.
