About The Position

The Avionics Assembler assembles and tests avionics components and systems at Honeywell Aerospace’s Minneapolis, Minnesota location. The role contributes to the reliability and functionality of avionics systems by following engineering specifications and quality standards, troubleshooting assemblies, and documenting work and test results for regulatory compliance. The position reports directly to the Production Supervisor and is performed onsite. The schedule is the 5th shift: Friday, 10 a.m.–6 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m.–10 p.m.; and Monday, 10 a.m.–6 p.m. The stated hourly pay is $31.462. Candidates must meet the U.S. person requirement for compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations: a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or person with protected status under asylum or refugee status.

Requirements

Associate's degree or technical certification in electronics or a related field.
Must be a U.S. person as defined in the posting: a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or person with protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow safety protocols.
Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in aerospace or defense manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of quality assurance processes and regulatory compliance in aerospace manufacturing.
