About The Position

AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Aviation Specialist to be based in New York, NY. This position is expected to begin Spring/Summer 2027. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Assisting in aviation market analysis and opportunity pipeline management. Building analytic and design skills. Conducting aviation design under the supervision of a market sector leader. Creating designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of the Department Manager. Collecting and analyzing data under the supervision of the Department Manager. Using computer software as a tool for solving basic design problems. Performing work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision. Assist in tracking financials for projects and pursuits under the supervision of market sector leader. This position will encompass certain business development duties such as: Demonstrates full use and application of standard sales and business development principles, theories, concepts, and techniques. Follows established procedures, applies sound professional judgment, and approaches problems with a variety of solutions. Under direct supervision, work is reviewed for soundness of judgment. Preparing proposals and presentations and participating in pre-sales activities under the supervision of market sector leader.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Planning, Construction Management or related field or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Nice To Haves

Drafting/CAD applications (MicroStation, AutoCAD Civil 3D).
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Experience with MS Office.
