About The Position

As an Aviation Operations Coordinator at MGM Resorts International, you will help create a welcoming and memorable guest experience while coordinating aviation operations. You will work with Maintenance to assign appropriate aircraft and with the Aviation Operations Supervisor to maintain support from the Operations department. The role includes performing Flight Operations Coordinator duties; handling aircraft requests; arranging customer and executive travel on company aircraft or alternative lift options; communicating passenger requests to flight crews; maintaining flight records; arranging international flight permits; and keeping crew schedules compliant with company and FAA regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of prior relevant experience in a job requiring accurate decision-making under pressure.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Work with Maintenance to ensure the most appropriate aircraft is assigned.
• Work with the Aviation Operations Supervisor to maintain support provided by the Operations department.
• Perform duties as Flight Operations Coordinator.
• Receive, process, and execute aircraft requests from casino hosts and executive assistants.
• Schedule customer and executive travel on company aircraft, or arrange other lift options when company aircraft is unavailable.
• Arrange travel, hotel, and ground transportation for crew and company executives when needed.
• Communicate passengers’ special requests and needs to flight crews.
• Update the scheduling software database after flights with passenger and crew names.
• Arrange all required landing and overflight permits for international flights.
• Schedule, maintain, and update flight crew schedules to ensure compliance with company and FAA regulations regarding currency, flight times, and duty times.
