The AV Technician performs all tasks under the direct supervision of a Lead Installation Technician or General Foreman and is primarily responsible for the accurate and efficient installation of simple to complex electronic systems. This role involves installing system racks, staging equipment, labeling equipment and cabling, performing installation tasks such as cable placement and termination, and maintaining a debris-free workspace. The AV Technician also serves as the primary point of contact for customers, representing the company professionally and courteously. They are responsible for completing required documentation accurately and on time, recognizing change order opportunities, and reporting job-related issues with potential solutions to the Lead Tech. Adherence to company technical service standards, maintaining tools and materials, and managing on-site installation supplies are also key aspects of the role. Additionally, the technician must perform work in adherence to safety policies, wear appropriate PPE, cultivate positive working relationships, and follow all company policies and procedures.
