About The Position

Evolve Technologies is seeking an AV Service Technician to service residential A/V, Home Theater, Network, Control, Lighting, Shading, & Security Systems. This role involves reading and interpreting floor plans and technical documents, understanding wiring and signal flow, and troubleshooting various systems. The technician will also be responsible for advanced networking troubleshooting, programming control systems, training clients, recommending upgrades, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining service records using company software.

Requirements

• Experience on construction sites, AV, Lighting, Shading, Control, and Networks
• Ability to climb ladders, use power tools & hand tools, lift 50 lbs
• A steady work history (3yrs between hops)
• A pleasant disposition, Hiqh EQ
• Valid License, Clean record, reliable transportation
• +5 yrs in Luxury AV Integration

• Experience programming Savant, C4, and Josh.ai

Responsibilities

• Servicing residential A/V, Home Theater, Network, Control, Lighting, Shading, & Security Systems
• Read and interpret floor plans and technical documents
• Understanding of wiring and signal flow
• Troubleshooting Systems (Crestron, Savant, Control4 (C4), Josh.Ai, Lutron QSX)
• Advanced understanding of networking
• Advanced troubleshooting of devices
• Control System Programming
• Train clients on use of systems
• Recommend upgrades when necessary
• Provide excellent customer service
• Use software for documentation, labor, workflow, and communication
• Maintain complete service records
