About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and versatile IT Technician with AV (Audio-Visual) media experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in both IT and AV technologies, along with excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience preferred).
Proven experience in IT administration, including network administration, system maintenance, and user support.
Strong knowledge of AV technologies, audio/video equipment, and multimedia systems.
Familiarity with AV protocols and standards such as HDMI, VGA, SDI, and Dante.
Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues across multiple platforms.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with the setup, configuration, and operation of AV equipment such as projectors, displays, audio systems, and video conferencing tools.
Troubleshoot technical issues related to AV systems, including connectivity problems, audio/video quality issues, and equipment malfunctions.
Coordinate and support AV requirements for meetings, presentations, and events, ensuring seamless audio and video playback.
Provide technical support to end-users, addressing IT and AV-related inquiries, concerns, and incidents in a timely manner.
Assist users with software applications, hardware devices, and connectivity issues, both remotely and onsite as necessary.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, system upgrades, and software patches to ensure system stability and security.
Document IT and AV configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for reference and knowledge sharing.
Maintain and support all aspects of our IT infrastructure including servers, network devices, workstations, and peripherals.
Install, configure, and upgrade hardware and software components as needed.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.
