About The Position

OneRevel is looking for a Field Engineer II to act as the technical "tip of the spear" for our field operations. This role involves building the future of commercial communication by leveraging advanced audio/video distribution, massive video walls, and managed digital signage. The Field Engineer II will architect experiences from advanced IPTV environments and Q-SYS integration to HDMI distribution and network wiring, leading the execution, commissioning, and support of premium commercial ecosystems. This is a leadership position where you will mentor lower-level field personnel, guide installation teams, and elevate technical standards. The role requires flexibility for project demands and travel, with an assigned company vehicle and specialty tools provided.

Requirements

5+ years of relevant AV field installation, commissioning, or technical systems experience in commercial environments.
Solid networking understanding.
Familiarity with CTS, Q-SYS (Level 0/1), Crestron, IPTV/Com3000, Motion Rocket, and HDMI/HDBaseT distribution.
Ability to safely navigate construction, outdoor, and client-facing environments.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
Ability to climb ladders.
Ability to operate lifts or bucket trucks (when certified).
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize without constant guidance.
Proven track record of training and leading others.

Responsibilities

Own the on-site execution of advanced commercial AV projects.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot complex systems.
Serve as the senior escalation resource for the team.
Collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain impeccable quality control.
Occasionally step up as an Event Day Operator to support live client environments.
Mentor lower-level field personnel.
Guide installation teams.
Elevate technical standards across the board.
