About The Position

Pomp’s Tire Service is seeking a Tire Technician to help keep passenger vehicles operating safely. The role involves tire installation, replacement, inspection, maintenance, and repair, along with customer support and maintaining tools and the work area. The technician may also perform additional tasks assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to read and verify work order information.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, and replace tires on passenger vehicles.
• Assess and troubleshoot customers’ tire needs and provide effective solutions.
• Inspect vehicles for additional maintenance or repair needs.
• Perform tire rotations, balancing, and repairs as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and properly care for tools and equipment.
• Complete additional tasks assigned by the manager to support operations.
