About The Position

Pomp’s Tire Service is hiring a Tire Technician to help keep passenger vehicles operating safely. The technician mounts, dismounts, replaces, rotates, balances, and repairs tires; assesses customer tire needs; and inspects vehicles for additional maintenance or repair needs. The role also includes maintaining a clean and organized work environment, caring for tools and equipment, and completing other tasks assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to regularly lift, carry, or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to read and verify work order information.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, and replace tires on passenger vehicles.
• Assess and troubleshoot customers’ tire needs and provide effective solutions.
• Inspect vehicles for additional maintenance or repair needs.
• Perform tire rotations, balancing, and repairs as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and properly maintain tools and equipment.
• Complete additional tasks assigned by the manager to support operations.
