About The Position

Pomp’s Tire Service is seeking a Tire Technician to help keep vehicles rolling safely. The role services passenger vehicles by mounting, dismounting, replacing, rotating, balancing, and repairing tires. The technician assesses customer tire needs, inspects vehicles for additional maintenance or repair needs, and maintains a clean, organized work area and properly maintained tools and equipment. The technician may also complete other tasks assigned by the manager to support operations.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to regularly lift, carry, or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to read and verify work order information.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, and replace tires on passenger vehicles.
• Assess and troubleshoot customer tire needs and provide effective solutions.
• Inspect vehicles for additional maintenance or repair needs.
• Perform tire rotations, balancing, and repairs as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and properly maintain tools and equipment.
• Complete additional tasks assigned by the manager to support operations.
