About The Position

Responsible for assisting members in selecting and purchasing tires, properly installing and repairing tires, completing tire bay documentation, and maintaining tire bay policies and procedures. The role also supports club policies and compliance, delivers friendly and knowledgeable member service, promotes a safe and positive environment, and works collaboratively to meet club standards and goals. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job. Other duties may be assigned, including work in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn basic computer skills.
• Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance.

• Prior tire installation experience.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, rotate, and balance tires, and perform other tire installation and repair work.
• Assist members with tire selection and purchases, including verifying tire sizes for vehicles.
• Provide knowledgeable service to members at the tire desk and address member concerns.
• Complete tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
• Maintain a clean and professional tire bay and waiting area, and merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
• Dispose of tires properly and fill propane tanks as needed when certified under DOT requirements.
• Coordinate with Home Office regarding member tire needs as needed.
• Maintain an accurate and complete supply inventory.
• Understand and appropriately use available special-order tire programs.
• Follow safety and cleanliness standards and properly use tire bay equipment.
• Maintain club policies and procedures and support compliance.
• Work in other departments as needed and maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
