About The Position

Berlin City Lexus and Toyota is hiring a customer-focused Mobile Service Technician to provide dealership-quality automotive maintenance and light repairs at customers’ homes or workplaces. The technician performs services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake work, and sensor replacements while meeting the dealership’s quality standards. The role also involves communicating findings with customers and the service team to support accurate work and customer satisfaction. The technician works independently in a varied, physically active environment and represents Berlin City Auto Group in interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors.

Requirements

1–2 years of hands-on automotive technician experience; the posting also describes 2+ years of automotive experience as desirable for the candidate profile.
Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively and professionally.
Detail-oriented, adaptable, self-motivated, and committed to high-quality repairs.
Comfort using diagnostic tools and technology.
Ability to perform physically active work, including standing, bending, lifting 20–50 lbs, and working in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Document all work performed and recommendations on repair orders.
Perform maintenance and repair work accurately and efficiently.
Notify the Service Manager when additional work is required or timing changes.
Conduct road tests to verify diagnostic and repair quality.
Participate in manufacturer and dealership training to maintain current technical skills.
Communicate findings with customers and the service team.
Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Berlin City’s core values in interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors.
