About The Position
Infiniti of Tacoma is seeking an Automotive Technician to join their Service Department. This role values quality workmanship, continuous learning, and professional growth, offering ongoing manufacturer training, supportive leadership, and opportunities for career development. The technician will diagnose and repair Infiniti and luxury vehicles, perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs according to manufacturer standards, and utilize diagnostic equipment. Effective communication with service advisors and team members is essential, as is maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Continuous development of technical knowledge and certifications is also a key aspect of the position.
Requirements
- Previous automotive experience
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to efficiently complete quality repairs
- Commitment to safety and accuracy
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- 1-3 months related experience and/or training preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic mathematical aptitude
- Ability to understand and apply common sense.
- Clean driving record
- Willing to submit to a drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair Infiniti and luxury vehicles accurately and efficiently
- Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs according to Infiniti manufacturer standards.
- Complete repairs according to repair orders and dealership procedures
- Utilize diagnostic equipment and technical resources
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and team members
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Continue developing technical knowledge and certifications
